The Patient’s Dream

“The patient dream” is the first study conducted on the effect of Virtual Reality contents used by women diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer.

The project is conceived by Twiceout S.r.l. and promoted by the “Together against Cancer” Foundation with the Regina Elena Institute in Rome.

The Patient’s Dream was presented in Rome on December 20, 2018 at the Maxxi Museum.

Speakers Francesco Cognetti – President of the Foundation Against Cancer, Francesco Ripa di Meana – Director General IFO, Alessandra Fabi oncologist of the National Cancer Institute “Regina Elena” IFO and Federico Giuseppini Founder of Twiceout.

The project “The Patient’s Dream” is a scientific research that brings Virtual Reality at the service of patients, during the chemotherapy cycle.
Its goals are to evaluate the effects and consequences in terms of well-being of the use of Virtual Reality as entertainment, on the mood and the organism of patients.
